Countdown to One Young World

The launch of the first One Young World (OYW) conference, to be held in London, is ferociously close, and over 500 delegates from all over the world have successfully become delegates through corporate sponsorship or fundraising efforts.

While my candidacy as a delegate was not as successful, I have been asked by the OYW team to attend the conference as the OYW press, thanks to this blog and many of those who support my work and writing.
I admit, I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and look forward to covering the three day conference, as well as meeting young people who think the way I do. This will be my first big press coverage therefore I aim to rapport with counsellors, VIPs and fellow journalists, in hope that my work and ideas disseminate, and attract more young people to become active in the political field.

I will be bringing news of the event right here on this blog, however do feel free to pass this website to peers, colleagues and friends.

You've done a great job covering the event. Very comprehensive summary there! I'm reading your entries on OYW and reliving the summit lol

Do cover other cool events you get to attend also! Like the conference in Belgium you're attending. Cheers!
